Phosphate

Uses of phosphate
Phosphate rock is usually extracted through surface methods using cable excavators, rotary shovel excavators for large deposits, automatic energy shovels, or soil shovels for light deposits, so the most important uses of phosphate in general are the following:

Phosphate is used untreated, as it is highly insoluble, as it can be used as fertilizer for some plants, but with the exception of some types of moist acidic soil, because when treating phosphate rock with sulfuric acid, phosphoric acid, which is the water-soluble substance from which most types of phosphate fertilizers are derived, is produced to maintain the productivity of agricultural land.
Phosphate is essential in agriculture and plant nutrition, as it plays a vital role in metabolism, energy transfer, root formation, and seeds, and is also important in the process of plant growth, improving the quality of vegetables and fruits.

Phosphate is used in the manufacture of a large selection of chemical compounds. Phosphate is used in the manufacture of food additives, detergents, and herbicides. Phosphate is used in the preparation of food, cosmetics.[1] Superphosphate is used in the production of animal feed.[1] Phosphate is used in the manufacture of electronics.[<>] Superphosphate is used in the manufacture of fertilizers for soil, climate and domestic crops.[<>]
